U.S. Marshals Apprehend Violent Offender

Columbia, SC – The U.S. Marshals Carolinas Regional Fugitive Task Force (CRFTF), in coordination with the West Columbia Police Department, located and safely arrested on March 22 a man wanted by the West Columbia Police Department (PD) for attempted murder.
Jermaine Noel Walker, 19, was wanted for three counts of attempted murder, armed robbery, and possession of a firearm.
Walker is alleged to have attempted to kill two men and a woman by discharging a firearm at them and stealing their property while armed with a firearm Nov. 14, 2023, in the 2800 block of Augusta Road in West Columbia.
Carolinas Regional Fugitive Task Force (CRFTF) investigators and West Columbia PD officers and investigators located Walker in the 600 block of North Brown Street in West Columbia, surrounded the residence, and conducted a callout. Walker exited the residence and was arrested.
Walker was transported to the West Columbia Police Department Headquarters for processing.
