U.S. Marshals Team with Award Winning Producer on New True Crime Podcast
For immediate release
Washington, DC - A new true crime podcast is set to premiere on October 24, 2022 on all major platforms. U.S. Marshals True Crime Podcast will include stories from deputy U.S. marshals and others who have been thrown into extraordinary situations.
Host and creator, film and TV producer Christopher Godsick, said the idea for the podcast came after he spent time embedded with the agency's New York/New Jersey Regional Fugitive Task Force to research a potential television series.
Godsick approached the U.S. Marshals Service (USMS) with his idea in late 2020 and, after reaching a production agreement in May 2021, began producing podcast episodes with his newly formed Slowly I Turn Network and the cooperation of U.S. Marshals Service (USMS) employees at various district offices around the country.
