USMS Officer Safety Training (Structure Operations)
In an effort to improve the safety of fugitive apprehension missions, the U.S. Marshals Service constantly reviews tactics and looks for technology that can aid deputies in the field. Learning how and where rounds hit during confrontations could lead to different armor choices or the decision not to make entry in dangerous situations. Use of drone technology, robots or canine deputies can result in better situational awareness, resulting in safer apprehensions for both law-enforcement and fugitives alike.
