MAJOR CASE: U.S. Marshals Looking for Barrow County Vehicular Homicide Suspect; up to $15,000 Reward Offered

Atlanta, GA — The U.S. Marshals Southeast Regional Fugitive Task Force (SERFTF) is offering a reward of up to $5,000 for information leading to the arrest of a man wanted by Barrow County authorities for vehicular homicide after a head-on crash that killed a University of Georgia student Feb. 13, 2023.

Cesar Raudales Macias, 26, allegedly drove his vehicle on the wrong side of the road and collided with a vehicle with two occupants, one of whom died from injuries sustained in the crash.

Macias is believed to have been intoxicated at the time and was operating a vehicle without working headlights. The crash occurred on University Parkway near Patrick Mill Road.

Macias is 5 feet 8 inches tall and weighs approximately 165 pounds. He has black hair and brown eyes.

Barrow County officials are offering a reward of up to $10,000 for any information that leads to an arrest and indictment in the case.

The Southeast Regional Fugitive Task Force has apprehended more than 44,000 fugitives since its inception and is always striving to make communities safer.
