PURPOSE
STARS is used in the headquarters offices to track expenditures of funds over the course of each fiscal year. Reports on expenses are run monthly for financial review. Expenses are reconciled at the end of each fiscal year. Summary financial data from District offices is used for budgetary oversight purposes.
