    Warrensville Heights – This morning, members of the U.S. Marshals Service, Northern Ohio Violent Fugitive Task Force (NOVFTF) located and arrested Jason Wilder, 25, and Jaden Hughey, 19. Wilder and Hughey were wanted by the Cleveland Division of Police for aggravated murder.

  • Cleveland Homicide Suspect Arrested in Des Moines

    Des Moines, IA – Members of the U.S. Marshals Southern Iowa Fugitive Task Force, in coordination with the Altoona Police Department, the Iowa State Patrol, and the Metro STAR  (Special Tactics and Response) Team, arrested a homicide suspect in the 3600 block of Holcomb Avenue on Thursday night.

  • Twelve-Year-Old Cleveland Girl Recovered in Baton Rouge by U.S. Marshals

    Cleveland, OH – The U.S. Marshals in Cleveland, OH and Baton Rouge, Louisiana, in conjunction with the Cleveland Police Department (CPD), recovered Lidia Garrido (12) earlier this morning. Garrido was reported missing on July 15, 2023, after she disappeared from the 10600 block of Governor Ave in Cleveland.

    Dayton, OH – The U.S. Marshals’ Southern Ohio Fugitive Apprehension Strike Team (SOFAST) with the assistance of the Southeast Regional Fugitive Task Force arrested fugitive Floydell Smith in Dayton, Ohio at approximately 9:00am. Tuesday. Smith was wanted in the murder of Te’Vian William from events that transpired in Rome, Georgia on June 27, 2023.

    Haywood County, TN – On July 13, 2023, the U.S. Marshals Two Rivers Violent Fugitive Task Force (TRVFTF) in Jackson captured a man wanted for multiple counts of sex crimes during his time as an assistant athletic coach for a Haywood County school.

  • U.S. Marshals and the Columbus Division of Police SWAT Locate and Arrest Hilltop Murder Suspect

    Columbus, OH – The U.S. Marshals Southern Ohio Fugitive Apprehension Strike Team (SOFAST) and Columbus Division of Police SWAT located and arrested fugitive La’Chovin Wilson early this morning. Wilson was wanted by the Columbus Division of Police (CPD) in connection with a shooting that occurred on June 1, 2023.

Hamilton was arrested in the 5500 block of Cresthaven Lane in Toledo, OH.

    New York – On July 12, Deputies and Task Force Officers from the U.S. Marshals New York/New Jersey Regional Fugitive Task Force (NY/NJ RFTF) apprehended the suspect wanted for shooting and seriously wounding a 5-year-old girl who was shot in the back while in the back seat of a vehicle in the Bronx on June 30 leading into the Fourth of July weekend.

    Cleveland, OH – The U.S. Marshals led Northern Ohio Violent Fugitive Task Force, in conjunction with the Cleveland Police Department (CPD), arrested Andre Pettaway (21) after he was charged with homicide by the Cleveland Police. The arrest took place in the 1800 block of Reyburn Rd. Cleveland, OH earlier today.
