The U.S. Marshals serves as the enforcement arm of the federal courts and is involved in virtually every federal law enforcement initiative.

  • Homicide Fugitive from Wisconsin Arrested in Phoenix

    Phoenix, AZ – Members of the U.S. Marshals Service (USMS) Task Force for the District of Arizona arrested a homicide fugitive following a vehicle stop April 6.

  • U.S. Marshals Offer up to $5K Reward for Man Wanted on Attempted Murder Charges in NH

    Concord, NH - The U.S. Marshals in New Hampshire are asking for the public’s assistance and offering a reward of up to $5,000 for information leading to the arrest of a man wanted on multiple charges stemming from shooting incidents in October 2022 in Goffstown and June 2019 in Manchester. 

  • Second-Degree Murder Suspect Captured in Memphis by U.S. Marshals and Shelby County Sheriff’s Deputies

    Memphis, TN – This morning, Diego Glay, 24, was captured by the U.S. Marshals Two Rivers Violent Fugitive Task Force (TRVFTF) in Memphis and the Shelby County Sheriff’s Fugitive Apprehension Team. Glay, of Memphis, was wanted on an arrest warrant charging him with Second-Degree Murder for the shooting death of a female last year.

  • U.S. Marshals and Local Law Enforcement Partners Capture Suspect in Deadly Memphis Restaurant Shooting

    Memphis, TN – On April 3, 2023, U.S. Marshals and local law enforcement partners captured Johnny Sanford, 36, who was recently identified as one of the shooters that left two dead and five others injured at the Prive Restaurant. The Memphis Police Department has charged Sanford, of Memphis, with First-Degree Murder and Convicted Felon in Possession of a Firearm.

  • Reward Offered for Suspect Wanted for Shooting Cleveland Police Detective

    Cleveland, OH – The Northern Ohio Violent Fugitive Task Force (NOVFTF) and Crime Stoppers of Cuyahoga County are offering a reward for information that directly leads to the arrest of Jayrion Church, 17. Church is wanted for the March 14th shooting of a Cleveland Police Detective who was shot in the arm and leg.

  • Eastern Washington Fugitive Couple on U.S. Marshals 15 Most Wanted Arrested in Mexico

    Washington, DC – A fugitive couple charged in Franklin County, Washington, with the murder of a child and multiple counts of child sex abuse were arrested March 22 in Mexico. Five children, who had been listed as missing and endangered, were also recovered at the time of the arrest.

  • U.S. Marshals Capture Three Teens Held on Violent Offenses who Escaped West Tennessee Youth Detention Center

    Memphis, TN – The U.S. Marshals in the Western District of Tennessee announce the capture of three male juveniles, all 17-years-old, who escaped the Wilder Juvenile Detention Center in Fayette County, Tennessee. The three captured teens were being held on charges ranging from Aggravated Robbery and Aggravated Assault to Felony Reckless Endangerment.

  • Fugitive Captured in Alabama, Wanted for the Murder of a Man in Morovis, Puerto Rico

    San Juan, PR – A man charged with the murder of another man in Puerto Rico was apprehended early today in Phenix City, Alabama, by the U.S. Marshals Gulf Coast Regional Task Force working a collateral lead from the U.S. Marshals in Puerto Rico and the Bayamón Special Detention Unit. 

  • U.S. Marshals Recover Missing Juvenile in Portland, Maine

    Portland, ME – The U.S. Marshals Service, Maine Violent Offender Task Force, announces the recovery of a West Virginia juvenile in Portland Maine. The juvenile was reported as a runaway from a foster care home in Hillsboro, West Virginia, in September of 2022.

  • U.S. Marshals, FBI Offer up to $20K in Rewards for Information Leading to Arrest of Former MD Governor Top Aide Charged with Fraud, Theft

    Baltimore, MD – U.S. Marshals and the FBI are offering a combined reward of up to $20,000 for information leading to the arrest of the Maryland governor’s former chief of staff charged with failure to appear, fraud, theft of funds and falsifying records. 

  • U.S. Marshals and West Virginia State Police Conduct Operation to Arrests Non-Compliant Sex Offenders

    Charleston, WV -The U.S. Marshals Southern District of West Virginia CUFFED Task Force and West Virginia State Police have completed “Operation Just & Necessary”, a two weeklong operation targeting sex offenders in Kanawha County and the surrounding area. The operation began on March 6, 2023 and concluded on March 17, 2023.

  • Unregistered Sex Offender From Stark County Arrested in Columbus With Juvenile

    Canton, OH – The U.S. Marshals in Columbus, OH in conjunction with the Northern Ohio Violent Fugitive Task Force (NOVFTF) arrested Skylar Losey (23) of Massillon, OH. Losey was wanted by the Stark County Sheriff’s Office and Stark County Adult Probation for violating conditions of his probation.

    Youngstown, OH –  The Northern Ohio Violent Fugitive Task Force (NOVFTF) is offering a reward for information which would lead to the capture of fugitive Kevin Peeples.

    Peeples is wanted by the Ohio Adult Parole Authority for being a parole violator at large since January 4, 2022. Peeples original charge is Endangering a Child (F2).
