Holley O'Brien, Chief Financial Officer
Ms. O'Brien joined the U.S. Marshals Service (USMS) in October 2012, as the Chief Financial Officer (CFO), and primary financial advisor, responsible for the development and execution of $4.0 billion in appropriated funds on an annual basis.
Silas V. Darden, Associate Deputy Director
In January 2024, the Director of the United States Marshals Service (USMS), Ronald L. Davis, appointed Silas V. Darden to serve as the Associate Deputy Director.
Washington
Craig Ellis Thayer J.D.
Craig Ellis Thayer was sworn-in as the United States Marshal for the Eastern District of Washington on September 7, 2010, the same day he honorably retired as the Sheriff of Stevens County, Washington. As Marshal, Thayer is responsible for leading and directing operations, including security and protection of the United States Courts, criminal investigations, fugitive apprehension, execution of federal court orders and other law enforcement activities in the District.
West Virginia
Michael T. Baylous
United States Marshal Michael T. Baylous began his law enforcement career as a Trooper within the West Virginia State Police. During his career with the West Virginia State Police, he served as a Field Trooper, an Investigator within the Bureau of Criminal Investigations, the Public Information Officer, and a Troop Logistical Officer.
Wisconsin
Kim V. Gaffney
On February 4th, 2019, Kim V. Gaffney was sworn-in as the 20th United States Marshal for the Western District of Wisconsin. As the United States Marshal for the Western District of Wisconsin, Gaffney is responsible for enforcing all orders of the United States District Court in the western 40,000 square miles of Wisconsin.
Anna Ruzinski
On February 26, 2020, President Donald Trump nominated Anna M. Ruzinski of Wisconsin, to serve as the United States Marshal for the Eastern District of Wisconsin. Previously, Anna Ruzinski served as the Chief of Police for the Menomonee Falls Police Department.

Randall Huff
Marshal Randall Huff serves as the United States Marshal for the District of Wyoming. He was confirmed by the United States Senate, then appointed by President Donald J. Trump on July 9, 2019. Marshal Huff brings a variety of law enforcement and management skills from prior employment.
