The U.S. Marshals serves as the enforcement arm of the federal courts and is involved in virtually every federal law enforcement initiative.

  • U.S. Marshals Fugitive Task Force Arrests Two Males Wanted for Homicide

    Cleveland, OH – Late last night, members of the U.S. Marshals led Northern Ohio Violent Fugitive Task Force (NOVFTF) arrested Money Baccus, 18, in Akron, Ohio.  Baccus was wanted by the Canton Police Department for aggravated murder.  This morning, members of the NOVFTF arrested Deshon Baker, 24, in Euclid, Ohio.

  • Bucks County Fugitive Wanted for Child Pornography Distribution Arrested in West Virginia

    Philadelphia, PA — Members of the U.S. Marshals Fugitive Task Force have arrested Mark Wills, 60, in Bridgeport, West Virginia. Wills was wanted by the Bucks County District Attorney’s Office for manufacturing and dissemination of child sexual abuse materials to children 13 and under. Over the past year.

    Jackson, TN – On February 11, 2025, the U.S. Marshals Service (USMS) captured a man, Amarion Mitchell, wanted for a murder in Jackson.

    On May 14, 2024, around 7:20 p.m., the Jackson Police Department investigated a shooting on Roosevelt Parkway near the Jackson Fire Department that killed one and injured other people.

  • Cleveland Homicide Suspect and Fugitive of the Week Arrested by U.S. Marshals

    Cleveland, OH – Early this morning, members of the U.S. Marshals led Northern Ohio Violent Fugitive Task Force (NOVFTF) arrested Anthony Conner, 44.  Conner was wanted by the Cleveland Division of Police for homicide and also wanted by authorities in Cape Girardeau County, Missouri for a shooting as well.

    Dallas, TX – The U.S. Marshals Service - North Texas Fugitive Task Force apprehended in Roanoke Jan. 28 a man wanted by the Tarrant County Sheriff’s Office for sexual assault of a child and by the USMS for Unlawful Flight to Avoid Prosecution.

    Joe Tarin, 30, who had been on the run for three years, made his initial appearance at the Tarrant County Courthouse Jan. 29.

    Atlanta, GA - On January 30, 2025, Marcel Pierre Grant, a citizen of Jamaica with a history of violence and illegal immigration, was captured by the United States Marshals Service in Atlanta, Georgia.

    Despite being deported, over many years, Marcel Grant has committed numerous, serious crimes.
