Trenton, TN – Early this morning, the U.S. Marshals led Two Rivers Violent Fugitive Task Force (TRVFTF) in Jackson, Tennessee, and Homeland Security Investigations (HSI) arrested Jose Alfredo Melendez-Hernandez.

Bangor, ME — A Florida man was arrested in Bangor, ME today by the U.S. Marshals Service Maine Violent Offender Task Force (MVOTF) for failing to register as a sex offender.

Austin, TX – The U.S. Marshals Lone Star Fugitive Task Force arrested a man sought by Austin Police for injury to a child following an incident on February 7th that resulted in the hospitalization of a 2-year-old victim.

Jackson, TN – On February 11, 2025, the U.S. Marshals Service (USMS) captured a man, Amarion Mitchell, wanted for a murder in Jackson.

On May 14, 2024, around 7:20 p.m., the Jackson Police Department investigated a shooting on Roosevelt Parkway near the Jackson Fire Department that killed one and injured other people.

Deer Park, WA - On February 10, 2025, after more than three years of evading capture, Lorenzo Eugene Delgado Martin was arrested today by the United States Marshals Service Pacific Northwest Violent Offender Task Force (PNVOTF).

Spokane, WA - The U.S. Marshals Pacific Northwest Violent Offender Task Force, in coordination with the Spokane County Sheriff’s Office and the U.S. Marshals Greater Idaho Fugitive Task Force, successfully apprehended fugitive Frank Cunningham on February 8th, 2025, around 6:00 PM, near S. Thor St. and E Third Ave.

Cleveland, OH – Late this afternoon, members of the U.S. Marshals led Northern Ohio Violent Fugitive Task Force (NOVFTF) arrested Hector Linares, 46.  

Nashville, TN – A U.S. Marshals task force in Tennessee, working a collateral lead from the U.S. Marshals Service in Wisconsin, today arrested in Nashville a man wanted in Milwaukee for sex crimes against children.

Cleveland, OH – Early this morning, members of the U.S. Marshals led Northern Ohio Violent Fugitive Task Force (NOVFTF) arrested Anthony Conner, 44.  Conner was wanted by the Cleveland Division of Police for homicide and also wanted by authorities in Cape Girardeau County, Missouri for a shooting as well.

Colorado Springs, CO – The U.S. Marshals Service’s Colorado Violent Offender Task Force (COVOTF) along with the Fountain Police Department, El Paso County Sheriff’s Office, and Colorado Springs Police Department located and arrested a Florida homicide suspect Tuesday evening in Colorado Springs.

Dallas, TX – The U.S. Marshals Service - North Texas Fugitive Task Force apprehended in Roanoke Jan. 28 a man wanted by the Tarrant County Sheriff’s Office for sexual assault of a child and by the USMS for Unlawful Flight to Avoid Prosecution.

Joe Tarin, 30, who had been on the run for three years, made his initial appearance at the Tarrant County Courthouse Jan. 29.

Atlanta, GA - On January 30, 2025, Marcel Pierre Grant, a citizen of Jamaica with a history of violence and illegal immigration, was captured by the United States Marshals Service in Atlanta, Georgia.

Despite being deported, over many years, Marcel Grant has committed numerous, serious crimes.

Poulsbo, WA - Deputy U.S. Marshals and members of the agency’s Pacific Northwest Violent Offender Task Force apprehended at the Poulsbo Marina a man wanted for nearly a year on an outstanding federal warrant for failure to comply with sex offender registration requirements.

Concord, NH –  Early this morning, members of the United States Marshals Service (USMS), District of New Hampshire Joint Fugitive Task Force, Strafford County Sheriff’s Office (SCSO), and Rochester Police Department arrested three fugitives out of 55 Lafayette Street in Rochester.

Portland, ME – The U.S. Marshals Service (USMS), Maine Violent Offender Task
Force (MVOTF) announces the arrest of Patrick Byrne, 29, in Livermore Falls, Maine.
According to Colorado authorities, an arrest warrant was issued for Byrne on November 04, 2024, for two counts of sexual exploitation of a child out of Bloomfield County Court in
Colorado.

Cleveland, OH – Today, members of the U.S. Marshals led, Northern Ohio Violent Fugitive Task Force (NOVFTF) arrested Keyon Stephens, 18. Stephens was wanted by the Richmond Heights Police Department for aggravated murder.

Austin, TX – Members of the U.S. Marshals Lone Star Fugitive Task Force (LFTFT) continued their work of making Austin neighborhoods safer by apprehending five capital murder suspects in a 26-hour time span from Jan. 29-30.

Houston, TX - The U.S. Marshals Gulf Coast Violent Offenders and Fugitive Task Force on Jan. 27 joined the Waller County Sheriff’s Office efforts to search for a man who escaped Jan. 23 from a medical facility in Belleville. 

Raleigh, NC - The U.S. Marshals (USMS) have joined the search for a man wanted for escaping Jan. 26 from the Craven County Detention Facility in New Bern.

Austin, TX – Members of the U.S. Marshals-led Lone Star Fugitive Task Force today arrested a juvenile* who is one of two suspects sought for a Jan. 24 murder in Austin. 

Another suspect, Bill Tarlue Nyanway, 18, of Austin, was arrested Jan. 27 and charged with tampering with physical evidence that stemmed from the shooting incident.
