Warren, OH – The Northern Ohio Violent Fugitive Task Force (NOVFTF) announces the arrest of wanted fugitive Noel Flores, 19. Flores was wanted by the Warren Police Department for homicide.
Flores is wanted in connection with the shooting death of Ashante Kirksey, 26, that occurred at her residence in the 900 block of Francis Avenue SE, Warren, OH on November 11, 2023. According to Warren Police, a second person was shot at the same location but was not identified in their report.
Late last week, the NOVFTF gathered information that Flores had fled Ohio and was staying near St. Petersburg, FL. The NOVFTF worked with the U.S. Marshals Service in Florida over the past few days and early this afternoon, Flores was located at an apartment in the 10100 block of 12th Way N, St. Petersburg, FL. Flores was found in possession of a 9mm firearm, which was the same caliber used during the commission of the homicide. The firearm was seized by authorities. Flores was booked into the Pinellas County Jail pending extradition to Ohio.
U.S. Marshal Pete Elliott stated, “This is another example of the dedication our task force officers put into every investigation. This fugitive attempted to evade the reach of the U.S. Marshals Service but was unsuccessful because we will never stop looking for them no matter how far they run.”
