U.S. Marshals Arrest Second Suspect Wanted for Toledo Double Murder

Toledo, OH – Earlier this afternoon, members of the U.S. Marshals led Northern Ohio Violent Fugitive Task Force (NOVFTF) and the Toledo Police Department’s SWAT Team arrested Marquis Walker, 19.

Marquis Walker, along with Markas Walker, 21, were both wanted in connection to the shooting death of two men on May 31 at a home in the area of 1400 Beecham.  When police responded, they located Teryaun Perrin, 25, along with a second victim, Marshawn Robinson, 17, near the rear of the home.  Robinson died from his injuries that day and Perrin succumbed to his injuries on August 17.  

Since the death of the second victim, a Lucas County grand jury has indicted the suspects on four counts of murder, two counts of felonious assault, discharge of a firearm near a prohibited premises and tampering with evidence.

Markas Walker was previously located and arrested by members of the NOVFTF on June 13 at an apartment in the 2700 block of Pickle Rd. in Oregon, Ohio.  A short time after his arrest, a warrant was issued for the second suspect, Marquis Walker.  This afternoon members of the NOVFTF were able to locate Marquis Walker at a home in the 300 block of Dennis Ct. in Toledo.  He was arrested there without incident.      

U.S. Marshal Pete Elliott stated, “Two violent individuals are now off the streets, dedicated work between the Toledo Police Department and the NOVFTF brought this case to closure.  Hopefully justice can now begin for the families of these two victims.”
