U.S. Marshals Offer $5,000 Reward for Information Leading to the Capture of Fugitive Murder Suspect

Detroit, MI – The U.S. Marshals Service Detroit Fugitive Apprehension Team, in conjunction with the Dearborn Heights Police Department, are offering a reward of $5,000 for information directly leading to the arrest of a man suspected in an April 16 murder of a 64-year-old woman in Dearborn Heights.
Mohamed Ali Saad, 32, has a history of mental illness and is considered armed and extremely dangerous. The U.S. Marshals elevated him to major case status early today.
Saad is believed to be driving a Silver 2018 Jeep Grand Cherokee, bearing a Michigan license plate: DYV 2064. Saad has fled the Dearborn Heights area and is believed to be traveling through Ohio, possibly Dayton area.
Mark Jankowksi, Acting U.S. Marshal for the Eastern District of Michigan, said, "The United States Marshals Service stands with the Dearborn Heights Police Department and will commit all resources to apprehend this fugitive, as we believe he poses a significant threat to public safety."
