U.S. Marshals Task Force Apprehends Homicide Suspect

Milwaukee, WI –Members of the U.S. Marshals Service’s Great Lakes Regional Fugitive Task Force (GLRFTF) captured on March 9 a fugitive wanted on a homicide charge. 

Charvis Blue, 30, was wanted on several Dane County warrants including one for first-degree intentional homicide (party to a crime) stemming from a July 22, 2022, shooting incident on Madison’s north side that resulted in the death of 18-year-old Laron Bynum.

Blue was also wanted on charges for felon in possession of a firearm, intentionally point firearm at a person (domestic abuse), disorderly conduct (domestic abuse), felony bail jumping, and burglary – building or dwelling (party to a crime).

After developing information of Blue’s potential whereabouts at a residence in the 500 block of West Fiebrantz Avenue on Milwaukee’s north side, the GLRFTF was able to locate and arrest him without incident. A 9 mm handgun was also discovered in the home at the time of arrest.

Blue’s criminal history includes arrests for obstruction, second-degree recklessly endangering safety, battery, armed robbery, robbery with use of force, retail theft, possession with intent to distribute, harboring a felon, resisting arrest and burglary.
