Wanted Jackson Man Arrested by U.S. Marshals

Jackson, TN – U.S. Marshal Tyreece Miller announced today the capture of Brandon Montreal Jones who was wanted for Failure to Appear in Madison County. Jones, who was previously charged with Firearms and Narcotics charges, was found at 543 Hayes St. Jackson, Tennessee this afternoon. Marshals say Jones attempted to evade capture by hiding in an air conditioning return vent. During the arrest officers found a loaded 9mm firearm and various suspected narcotics including Methamphetamine and Fentanyl. Officers say Jones is a suspected gang member. Jones was taken to the Madison County Jail where he awaits a hearing on the charges. "The Marshals Task Force is on the front lines arresting fugitives and taking drugs and guns off the streets," said U.S. Marshal Tyreece Miller. "We will continue our efforts to make communities safer."
The Gulf Coast Regional Fugitive Task Force (GCRFTF) has offices in Tennessee, Mississippi and Alabama. The West Tennessee office consists of Deputy U.S. Marshals, Investigators with the Jackson Police Department, Agents with the Tennessee Department of Correction, Investigators with the Memphis Police Department, the Shelby County Sheriffs Office and the Fayette County Sheriffs Office.
