Popio was last seen on August 14, 2022, when she was reported missing to the Campbell Police Department. The U.S.

Cleveland, OH – Late this afternoon, members of the Northern Ohio Violent Fugitive Task Force (NOVFTF) arrested Ja'Vair Walker, 20. Walker is currently wanted by the Buffalo, New York Police Department for murder.

Cleveland, OH – Early this morning, members of the Northern Ohio Violent Fugitive Task Force (NOVFTF) located and arrested Bernard Walter Lewis Lonnie Sparks, 33. Sparks has been wanted since January 2022 for aggravated murder, attempted murder, aggravated burglary, and felonious assault.

Akron, OH – This afternoon, members of the Northern Ohio Violent Fugitive Task Force (NOVFTF) arrested Tyler Duncan, 21. Duncan was wanted by the Summit County Sheriff’s Office for failure to appear at sentencing.

Lorain County, OH – The Northern Ohio Violent Fugitive Task Force is offering a reward for information which would lead to the capture of fugitive Michael Frost.

Cleveland, OH - The Northern Ohio Violent Fugitive Task Force (NOVFTF), the Brunswick Police Department and the Cuyahoga County Sheriff’s Department SWAT Officers were fortunate enough to work with The Northeast Ohio Chapter of A Special Wish Foundation to grant a wish for a very special young man.

Toledo, OH – The United States Marshals Service and the Toledo Police Department have worked diligently over the last two months to help curb gun violence and disrupt gang activity in the city of Toledo. Operation Triple Beam, which concluded last week, was a collaborative law enforcement operation designed to focus on areas of high gun violence and disrupt gang activity.

Canton, OH – This morning, members of the Northern Ohio Violent Fugitive Task Force (NOVFTF) arrested David Hanshe, 34. Hanshe was wanted by the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania for 5 counts of rape of a child.

Akron, OH – The U.S. Marshals Service (USMS) and Ohio Department of Natural Resources (ODNR) recently began investigating the whereabouts of Makenzie Carson (15), a missing juvenile. Carson had been reported missing to the Ohio Department of Natural Resources after she couldn’t be located around her campsite at the Mosquito Creek State Park on July 7, 2022.

Cleveland, OH – Late this afternoon, members of the U.S. Marshals Northern Ohio Violent Fugitive Task Force (NOVFTF), along with the Cleveland Division of Police SWAT Team, arrested Sheldon Payne, 29.

Akron, OH – This afternoon, members of the U.S. Marshals Northern Ohio Violent Fugitive Task Force (NOVFTF) arrested Latrell Wilson, 38. Wilson was wanted by the Akron Police Department for homicide.

Akron, OH – This morning, members of the U.S. Marshals Northern Ohio Violent Fugitive Task Force arrested Deshawn Stafford Jr., 20 yrs, Tyler Stafford, 19 yrs, and Donovon Jones, 21 yrs. The three are wanted by the Akron Police Department for the fatal beating of Ethan Liming, 17 yrs, outside the I Promise School in Akron on June 2, 2022.

Brooklyn, NY – This morning, members of the U.S. Marshals Service, New York-New Jersey Regional Fugitive Task Force and the New York Police Department arrested Cierra Mack, 30. Mack was wanted by the Cleveland Division of Police for aggravated murder.

Cleveland, OH – This afternoon, members of the U.S. Marshals Service, Northern Ohio Violent Fugitive Task Force arrested Jumel Lewis, 42. Lewis was wanted by the Fulton County Sheriff's Office in Georgia for aggravated murder.

Cleveland, OH – This afternoon, members of the U.S. Marshals Service, Northern Ohio Violent Fugitive Task Force arrested D'Lawrence Scott, 19, and Lawrence Scott Jr., 56. D’Lawrence Scott was wanted for aggravated murder by the Akron Police Department and Lawrence Scott Jr. was want for obstruction of justice in reference to the same homicide.

Toledo, OH – The U.S. Marshals are alerting the public of a current imposter scam involving individuals claiming to be U.S. Marshal Peter Elliott. Scammers have been calling victims to explain they missed court dates, have outstanding warrants, or failed to appear after being served with subpoenas.

Akron, OH – Earlier today members of the U.S. Marshals Service in Miami, Florida recovered two missing juveniles from Akron, Ohio.

On May 3, 2022, the Summit County Juvenile Court ordered two children, ages 8 and 12, removed from the custody of their mother due to serious mental health issues and concern for the children’s safety.

Youngstown, OH – This afternoon, members of the Northern Ohio Violent Fugitive Task Force, along with the Federal Bureau of Investigation and the Austintown Police Department, arrested James Verdream, 56.
