  • U.S. Marshals Fugitive Task Force Apprehends Double Homicide Suspect Sought in the Capitol Region

    Austin, TX – On May 29, 2023, members of the U.S. Marshals-led Lone Star Fugitive Task Force (LSFTF) arrested a man sought on two homicides and an additional warrant for unauthorized use of a motor vehicle with Pflugerville and Austin Police Department’s on May 25.

    Phoenix, AZ – This evening, Gilberto Buitimea Bacasegua, 52, was extradited back to the United States after his arrest in Sinaloa, Mexico. Bacasegua was wanted by the Peoria Police Department for Sexual Conduct with a Minor, Sexual Abuse and Kidnapping.

    Tandion Stoudemire, 21, was serving a 23-year sentence for attempted murder out of Montgomery County when he escaped from Staton Correctional Facility in Elmore County around 2 a.m., May 25.

    Philadelphia, PA - Today, at approximately 11:30am, members of the U.S. Marshals Fugitive Task Force arrested Brian Amerman, 19, in the 2000 block of East Rush Street in Philadelphia, PA. Amerman was wanted on 2 carjacking warrants and 1 attempted murder warrant. These warrants were issued late in the evening on May 23rd and immediately delegated to the U.S.
