The U.S. Marshals serves as the enforcement arm of the federal courts and is involved in virtually every federal law enforcement initiative.

  • Cleveland Murder Suspect Arrested by U.S. Marshals in Georgia

    Atlanta, GA – Today, members of the U.S. Marshals Southeast Regional Fugitive Task Force (SERFTF) arrested Ian Price, 21, near Atlanta, Georgia. Price was wanted by the Cleveland Division of Police for aggravated murder.

  • U.S. Marshals Capture West Tennessee Fugitive in Southern California

    Hardin County, TN – A West Tennessee fugitive on the run for 15 months was captured by U.S. Marshals in Southern California.

    On January 24, 2023, an arrest for Jason Carol Gray, 42, was issued in Hardin County Circuit Court in Savannah, Tennessee for Distribution of Methamphetamine.

  • Most Wanted Canadian Fugitive Arrested in Hartford in March Returned to Canada

    New Haven, CT - A Canadian most wanted fugitive arrested in Hartford March 26 has been returned to Ontario to face the charges against him.  

    Kensworth Alton Francis, 29, of the Bahamas, is wanted on two counts of first-degree murder and one count of attempted murder, stemming from a 2022 shooting incident at an Ontario nightclub which left two men dead.

  • U.S. Marshals Recover Tucson Children Kidnapped by Parents in 2018

    Las Cruces, NM – The U.S. Marshals Service (USMS) District of New Mexico (D/NM) Southwest Investigative Fugitive Team (SWIFT) developed information on April 9, 2024, resulting in the arrest of a man in Ciudad Juarez, Chihuahua, MX. The subject was wanted for his involvement in a homicide that took place in Mesilla, New Mexico on April 1, 2024.

    Cleveland, OH – The U.S. Marshals (USMS) in Maryland, in conjunction with the USMS in Cleveland, OH arrested Stephan A. Pittman (46) in Fort Washington, Maryland earlier today. Pittman was wanted by the USMS for failure to register as a sex offender and by the Cuyahoga County Sheriff’s Office (CCSO) for failure to appear on prior sex offender registration violations.

  • Forty-One Individuals Charged in Massive Poly-Drug Indictment Linked to Cartel

    A total of 23 people were taken into custody following the return of a 50-count indictment alleging cocaine, fentanyl, heroin, and meth trafficking and related crimes in the Houston and Galveston areas.

    The indictment alleges they all operated under the overall control of the Jalisco New Generation Cartel (CJNG).
