U.S. Marshals' Biographies

On March 01, 2019, Denny King was sworn in as the United States Marshal for the Middle District of Tennessee. Denny W. King began his law enforcement career in 1973, as a Patrolman with the Lafollette, Tennessee, Police Department.

Tyreece L. Miller was sworn in as the United States Marshal for the Western District of Tennessee on July 10, 2020. Marshal Miller is responsible for the management, administration, and direction of operations throughout the district.

He was initially sworn-in on February 4, 2019 by Rodney Gilstrap, Chief Judge for the Eastern District of Texas. Marshal Garrison currently oversees 42 personnel in the district with an annual operating budget of over 20 million dollars for operating expenses.

In February 2020, T. Michael O'Connor was sworn in as the U.S. Marshal of the Southern District of Texas. A fifth-generation South Texas rancher, U.S. Marshal T. Michael O'Connor continues his stewardship in public service and as a businessman.

Susan Lewellyn Pamerleau serves as the 33rd United States Marshal for the Western District of Texas. She was confirmed by the United States Senate August 28, 2018 and sworn in September 17, 2018.

The Honorable Justin L. Martinez was nominated by President Biden on October 14, 2023, confirmed by the U.S. Senate on June 7, 2023, and sworn-in to serve as the United States Marshal for the District of Utah on June 20, 2023.

Lisa Dickinson was appointed as the United States Marshals Service (USMS) General Counsel on August 30, 2020 by former Director Donald W. Washington. capacity, she is responsible for overseeing Office of General Counsel (OGC) operations, as well as providing legal advice and guidance to U.S. Marshals Service personnel.

Shannon R. Saylor was nominated by President Joseph R. Biden and confirmed by the United States Senate on June 07, 2023, to serve as the U.S. Marshal for the Eastern District of Virginia.

For over two decades, ADO Kelly has been a key leader in the U.S. Marshals Service. Since 2020, ADO Kelly has served as a member of the Senior Executive Service of the United States Government, most recently as the Assistant Director (AD) of the Tactical Operations Division (TOD).
